Tip # 1

Buy Gas During The Week

During the week, gas is cheaper to buy than on the weekend. And with the high prices of gas, we need to save anyway we can.

Trick #1
Smelly Hands?
After chopping onions or garlic, the smell gets on your hands and just won't leave no matter how much you wash it.  A quick remedy to this: wet your hands and get used coffee grounds, put some in your hands and rub it all over your hands and then wash!

The smell is gone!

Tip #2
Cleaning your microwave
Have you ever tried to reheat  food in your microwave and been horrified at the mess you found?  Looks like food exploded all over the place?  Well, here is an easy fix.  Get a microwave safe cooking dish and add water.  Set your microwave on 5 minutes, depending on your microwave you may need to do more.  Cook the water until is boils and steams up the microwave.  Get a dish towel and wipe clean.  Then get another clean towel with soap and water and wipe it down to remove any smells.  Quick and easy and no chemicals!  Just the way we like it!

Trick #2
Removing Marker or Crayon
Have marker on your wall or other hard surface? When both my kids were small, they would get those pens and markers and always get to the walls, after using this remedy, I don't worry about it anymore. Use toothpaste!!!! Use white toothpaste (not the gel type) put some on your stain and in a circular motion rub it, and it will come off!!! It won't harm walls or other surfaces and it keeps everything smelling clean!!! Also works in the bathroom on stains on your surfaces by the sink.
