Here it is my very first blog. Where do I start? I have so much to say. First and foremost welcome to The Successful Gal. A portal of sites dedicated to Health, Happiness and Personal Success.
My name is Francine, and I am the owner of a Motorsports Marketing firm that deals in all forms of Motorsports. I started the business over 6 years ago and it has been very successful. It has been a lot of hard work and a lot of trial and error in building my business, but what I have learned has proven invaluable in my continuing success in the business world. I have been told over and over that I am a very motivated person and that I should be a motivational speaker. I must admit I kind of laughed at that, I may be good, but getting the kids to clean their rooms is still quite the challenge.
In my business, the landscape of Motorsports has greatly changed and I was looking to go into a new direction. What direction would I go into? I was searching the web and looking around doing research - I am very much into researching - I came across a lot of clutter. Work from home and get rich quick schemes, and ads after ads, just a lot of clutter.
In my research, whether it be for something I need for my business, a new line of software, or a better way to accomplish what I doing, new technical advice, or sometimes just a place to go and laugh, there is no one stop shop for resources.
I was highly frustrated over the lack of information out there on the web that was reliable, and most importantly information that pertained to me as an average woman. After sorting through all the advertisements I would find, by the time I got to the content, I was usually disappointed and frustrated.
Being so inundated with clutter I ended up spending so much time on the internet - wasting what little time I had - searching for valid information and not advertising. There really is no centralized place that you can go to find this information.
And that is where I came up with this. I wanted to design a site that would inspire woman, real woman not the TV and media portrayal of woman, and help them to achieve their personal success. The reason I use the term personal success is that my definition of personal success and your definition of personal success are probably very different and unique as they should be, everyone’s is.
This unique portal of sites is many different things. It will give you the tools to achieve your personal success. It will allow you into forums to chat with other woman that are in the same position as you, and to gain strength from knowing that you are not alone in all that you are trying to do.
The stresses that we face as a woman are enormous and sometimes overwhelming. Working, trying to keep up with the house, being a good mother, a good wife, and trying to keep your own identity, which sometimes gets lost is a tough balancing act that we rarely get credit for.
One of the portals of the Successful Gal that we will be debuting is VA girl. I am very excited about this. I truly believe that virtual assistants are the wave of the future. This site will change the way that corporations and VA’s do business.
It is my hope that you will come away from this site inspired, refreshed, and hopefully full of new and creative ideas with some new directions in which to take not only your life, but your career as well.
